Teaching Career For The Past Five Years - 1283 Words

Professional Introduction I have been in the teaching career for the past five years. My most recent experience has been assisting with planning activities, supervising children, ensuring children s safety and managing classroom environments. Meanwhile, One reason I particularly I have also been responsible for communicating with my co-workers, supervisor, children, and their families. enjoy this career is the opportunity to connect with children that I love. What I loved best about being a teacher was teaching is an amazing profession. Joanna Gilman is business director and site facilitator is Kavita Hakim. Presently, there are 69 children enrolled at the preschool site. As a well-rounded educator, I have earned my 37 early childhood education units in the college and I have possessed associate teacher permit. I also got Montessori teaching credential in 2012. At present, I am pursuing Associate Arts degree in Early Childhood Education at Chabot College. I expect to transfer to a four- year college next year. I feel the most important characteristics of effective teacher are passion, perseverance, patience and creative. Passion motivates people to excel. People who are passionate about their work love what they do. They find purpose in their calling – a purpose that drives them to work hard, to learn along the way, and to achieve more than they have ever accomplished before. Their work challenges them and pushes their abilities to their limits. The challenge excites them. It forces them to think, to learn and to grow. And, amidst this excitement, it is almost as if their work becomes play. I have strong passion and enthusiasm whenever I teach young children. I believe what I am doing will make a difference.
